Lucinda Chiu

VIOLINIST

A violinist with the Los Angeles Opera, Lucinda Chiu has appeared with the Houston Symphony, Pacific Symphony, American Ballet Theatre, LA Master Chorale, and Charleston Symphony.

She has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. She recently held a residency on Holland America Line through its partnership with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

In addition, Lucinda is regularly engaged as a studio musician and has appeared in a number of movie soundtracks, albums, and video games. She has recorded at Warner Bros. Studios’ Eastwood Scoring Stage, Fox’s Newman Scoring Stage, EastWest Studios, and the Hollywood Scoring Stage.

Lucinda maintains a private studio of violin students in Los Angeles and Houston and enjoys working with students of all ages and levels. Lucinda is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory and Rice University, where her teachers included Soovin Kim, Violaine Melancon, and Cho-Liang LinDr.
