AIA, LEED AP BD+C PRINCIPAL | SUSTAINABLE DESIGN DIRECTOR

Mark Maddalina is a Principal and Sustainable Design Director at the architecture and design firm SWBR. He has been at the helm of many sustainable design projects, including innovative and specialized higher education facilities and laboratories that have earned LEED Gold and Platinum certification. Mark has developed SWBR’s Sustainable Design Best Practices, and provides internal training and guest lectures on sustainable design for many professional organizations and educational institutions. Overseeing the firm’s participation in the AIA 2030 Commitment, Mark supports SWBR in working toward the design of carbon-neutral buildings, developments, and major renovations by 2030.
